So you've booked in your Engagement Session, now what do you wear?
Solid colours work best for photos, so try to avoid any patterns or logos which will distract from your lovely selves. Do your best to choose outfits which are complimentary in colour without matching each other completely.
Most couples I photograph choose to dress in smart casual attire, however there is no right or wrong - you can dress up or down as much or as little as you like. A big tip is to wear something you feel a million dollars in! Maybe it's something that fits you really well, it's your favourite colour, and you always get compliments in it.
Be yourselves and feel free to add a pop of colour or sparkle if it suits your personality! Remember to accessorize with jewellery etc. and consider getting your hair and makeup done professionally if you're not confident or keen to do it yourself.
Oh and if you're still stuck, feel free to send me a few options and I can advise you from there. I'm happy to help :)
Solid colours work best
Gav and Steph chose solid colours, therefore avoiding any distracting patterns or logos.
Choose outfits which are complimentary in colour
Teegan and Wayne found the perfect balance of choosing outfits which were complimentary in colour without matching each other completely. They also matched their environment - which brings me to my next tip below!
Match your environment
Matching your outfits to your environment is always a good idea, as Jackie and Todd did.
If in doubt, dress smart casual
You are welcome to dress up or down as much or as little as you like, but if you're unsure, smart casual is a safe bet.
Add a pop of colour or sparkle!
Stephanie added a hint of sparkle to her outfit with high tops.
Remember to accessorize!
Ben & Marjorie chose to dress up and Marjorie added a pair of statement earrings that perfectly matched her dress.
